Here at Arrow, we're big fans of content managment systems (CMS), particullaly Drupal. It's exceptionally powerful, flexible and gives the client a nice point and click interface to keep their website up to date. Setting all this up to look great and work well obviously takes time. So what if a client doesn't need to make many changes to their website and what if a client needs a great website as quickly as possible.

Sending Raw Email via Amazon SES using PHP

We've been working on a web app for a client, in essence it's a mail merge app with some extra features (mainly attachment management - allowing them to send different attachments to everyone on the list). To send attachments via the SES API is a bit of work as you have to send a 'raw' email - i.e. boundaries, encoding etc. I struggled to find some examples in PHP, so after struggling through I thought I would write it down incase it could benefit anyone.

Multiple network adapters in Vagrant

As part of our new infrastructure change we were updating our development environments in Vagrant to match our live servers. One of these changes was adding multiple network adapters to the boxes, I couldn't find anything on the internet that covered this perfectly - especially for version 2 of the Vagrantfile API.
